Hey everyone! Hope you enjoyed this one. Tierlist making is SUPER fun and you guys seem to really like them.

One note I forgot to mention about God King Garen is that the unique encounter voicelines will often play in Fog of War, meaning that you'll be alerted by the presence of enemy champions before you see them. For that reason, on the patches that it works, GKG is a Pay to Win skin.

Steel Legion in pay to lose is wild, that's like the most pay to win skin he has haha
The shades of blue match up with Ghost + Phase Rush, OG Stridebreaker too, but also his R kneeling animation is almost impossible to see.

Something that seems interesting to me about the skins that make Garen look bigger, like the Steel Legion or God King, is that they were created before the rework (When Garen didn't use attack speed items) so their animations look very strange since they move very fast for such large models.

I think you underrated steel legion. The ult animation is one of the hardest to react to. And while it's true that the W animation is quite visible, it also looks pretty distinct from other Garen W animations, so people might not instinctively recognize it as his W.

Am I the only one who noticed that god king q and auto when ending the e animation sometimes comes out super fast? Almost like the animation starts midway through the original animation.

A thing that's happened to me a few times with Godking Garen is I am chasing a fast opponent like teemo, I go into my E, and it shows them inside the spin but they take no damage. I suspect the blue aura extends a tiny bit further than the actual hit radius.

You've also mentioned on stream that the e on Demacia Vice skin is hard to read Garens movements, which i definitely agree.

not related on the pay to win topic but I still hate how they just straight up removed god-king's Ult impact particles which brings the "legendary" to the ablity.
some might say it visually messes up with the game, they could've just toned it down, Darius' ult has the same particles bursting out when he ult but they never removed that.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention you can bait out defensive abilities with Demacia vice’s taunt where he slams his sword into the ground. I’ve baited out Mundo ult, fiora riposte, trynd ult, etc by doing that

Just got mythmaker garen from an orb thank god, was using steel legion, rugged and the other free one for 3 years or something now lol. Been wanting a good garen skin for so long and when I hopped into practice tool it was too good cant wait to play it! Also I agree with steel legion being kind of weird, dont think its that pay to lose tho, but still, always preferred the other two cheaper ones I had.
