I do it with a ramp instead of a cone and it's just as good but a bit better because you are as protective but can see more. You need to edit the stair into a half but you flip it to. Try it. Love your videos.

I've been doing that edit practically since I started playing fortnight. You can also pickaxe the wall like that while having the best possible protection in the current position.
I have no Idea why nobody ever uses it against me or even know you can edit cones like that.

i actually use this but i use it to dodge right-hand peaks - like say they make a peanut butter edit in the top left, i will edit my cone for 3 tiles so that it blocks his entire right hand and i can replace the wall in the bottom corner where he cant see me and he doesn't have enough time to replace.

can you make a short on fazing into someones box every time - edit the cone to one tile and crouch walk into the corner of the cone while spraying the floor below you and you will get in every time - asking for the 1st time

Haha that was one of my first cool kind of peek shots when i first learned edits, but i literally only use to do it because i thought confirming that extra 3rd tile to convert the ramp edit made it look flashy. Sleeping on this move lately..use to counter enemy windows with it and also doing this edit then confirming a window edit can suprise your enemy if they are on the otherside and havent already taken your wall.. also did this edit in metal to cover myself on low ground and had my enemy walk on top of the edit to find me and full box him ( or her )from underneath, one of my wierdest plays to be honest though and was really in moment as my enemy was hungry for the W 😂

not me either doing this because i messed up my cone edit or was hiding and just did this to get a shot or two in and run away

I usually do this with the top left tile and stay on the back edge of the box, if the guy edits I edit the cone to protect myself and if he attempts to destroy it I backoff and reset the wall on the back of the box

its best used to block peanutbutters ive been doing it since og season basically its ver useful for getting the wall from 1 tile away
