Quick update guys

Thank you so so much for the great reaction to the video, it's so nice to see!

One thing tho was I messed up on the naming of "Ultra sacred fire" or "Saffi Fire". They were two separate things but now the term is blue fire. Ill make sure to use the proper terminology next time :)

Crunch: "Fun isn't something one considers when going at high speeds... but this *(chuckles)* does put a smile on my face"

I usually suck at all these competitive games, whether is racing, fighting, or whatever, and this is no exception lol but I still enjoy them so much.

The clearest explanation Ive seen so far. I particularly appreciate the side by side comparisons of no drifting/boosts, 1 lap of drifting/boosts, and 2 laps of drifting/boosts. It definitely helps to drive home just how significant the extra speed you get is.

You can hit 15 boosts in a row in Roos tubes and it's insane the speed you can get. CTR makes Rainbow road look like Moo Moo meadows

We need to go 88 mph and catch the 1.21 Gigawatts from the lightning strike at the clock tower to have enough speed and energy to go back to the future Marty! But first! I need you to do some drift laps around the town to build your reserves AND THEN get the boost.

Thank you for the updates. Only youtuber at this moment covering CTR properly!

This is by far the best explanation of power boosting/ drifting/ SF/ USF video I've seen of Nitro fueled 👍

This video was super helpful for a beginner. I had always been power sliding, but i never knew you could turn the opposite direction during a drift to straighten your path.

Saffi-Fire is actually an overflow error with reserves in the original game that does not exist in Nitro-Fueled. Basically, if you got too much reserves then you would just permanently travel at Sacred Fire speed even without boosting. Otherwise, all this info is correct! :)

I saw other people were also mentioning the saffi fire terminology thing, but even with that, this video is fantastic. The side-by-side comparisons are what pretty much every other video I've watched on this topic has been missing, as well as the explanations about continuing to boost after achieving blue fire. I subbed.

That's the most compehensive explanation of the SF and USF mechanics that I've seen yet. Thank you.

Some tips are nice, but I'm afraid a portion of this video could be misleading to the average player.
First of all: increasing reserves does NOT affect your speed, only the duration of the boost;

Sacred Fire/SF increases the speed, but can only be obtained by driving over a turbo pad and can be mantained stacking reserves through drifts/jumps, this means that once you have it, there's no actual need to go out of your way to drive over turbo pads, as they will not increase your speed any further and pads add very few reserves, keeping a good trajectory will save you a lot of time;

Saffi fire was an unintended glitch in the original CTR and it's been rightfully patched out now, the Blue Fire works the exact same way as the SF, just elevating you to a different speed tier;

Lastly, not all Perfect boosts are equal, filling the boost bar up to the last pixel actually makes a big difference in reserves and mastering this will let you keep the Blue Fire up for all the race.

There are plenty of detailed tutorials for the old ctr that go really deep in this system and are mostly still relevant for the remake

Wow, CTR player from ps one and I didn't know you could chain reserves like that. Still learning.

I'm at a position where I can't win many games, and when I do it feels like a fluke. I NEED THIS!

Who wants crunch to have a thanos skin now😂

You got the names wrong, blue fire is USF. Saffi fire is an overflow glitch in the original game's programming and is not in NF.

Crash Bandicoot is my favorite video game, and I played CTR a lot. Even though I already speed boost all the time, this video was still helpful.

So basically in a nutshell: Keep power sliding AND DON'T STOP!
