I think that all of bonanza episodes showes respect, family values, fairness to others and accomplishment. Thrue hard work and enjoyment.

Looking on the bright side for the Van der Voors, Hoss regaining his memory has saved them a fortune on future food bills.

That look when Ben closes his eyes at the end just before Hoss says lets go get something to eat says everything.

My son has been gone for four years. Everything reminds me of him. I could never replace him.

Just amazing!
Lovely guest actors, fabulous set designs and always a moral to the story.
Hollyweird what you have become is shameful.

Ben shows his true paternal love for his son: he'd rather be away from Hoss than causing him any pain. As for the couple, who wouldn't like to have a son like Hoss? The themes of Bonanza are full of humanity, this show is unforgettable!

I was waiting for Hop Sing to come running out of the kitchen telling Hoss I got you flapjacks, guarantee Hoss's memory would have come back then 🤣

This is a really heart touching episode. ♥️ Full of tenderness, fatherly and brotherly love and emotion. Pa Ben's feelings are only compared to Joe's. One of the very best BONANZA episodes.

A beautiful, and also heartbreaking story...when Hoss has amnesia for a short time...his father Ben searching for him. A bit fuzzy at 1st, but true awakening for Hoss when he sees a picture of his late, beautiful mother.
This is the best performance that Dan Blocker did (that I saw.)
