A lot of the booktubers I watch, or at least of their hauls and unhauls that I watch, barely ever talk about mystery/thriller and they mainly talk about YA. Which is great, I love YA but I'm also so in love with mystery/thriller books so your haul was a very nice refresher from all the YA hauls I see. You just gained a new subscriber.

Oh I've read in a dark dark wood, it was my first book of the author ! I met her in a convention and she was the sweetest person ever, that's actually why I GOT INTRIGUED. This is so waa, her book is so dark haaha but I LOVED IT
So for the synapsos, this is how I'd put it :
We follow Nora, a young author. All of a sudden she gets invitated to the hen party of one of her past friends Clare. She hasn't talked to her in 10 years or so. Not since she left school suddenly. Nonetheless she accepts the invitation and goes to the indicated location : a house in the middle of the woods (basically in the middle of nowhere).
from there it's all discovery and mystery !!
I really enjoyed it, hope you get to discover it soon !

If you like mystery/thriller and haven't gotten a chance to yet, read anything by Patricia Cornwell or Lisa Gardner, they are two of my favorite thriller authors

I read The Party last year and was a little underwhelmed. I wanted it to be more, but it just didn't get there for me. What a great book haul!!

Honestly I found All the Missing Girls just really boring, although I enjoyed the narrative twist.
