Yes, that is exactly how my 1993 was..
I sure wish I had that same set up on my 2003. Not only was that door handy & useful, I stored my gloves and sunglasses in it!
However my 2003 is nothing like that. The bottom panel under the steering wheel on the right and left is one solid piece... hhhmmm
