I've thought about these issues a great deal and over a very long period of time. As usual, you are 100% correct about the idea of panic and it leading to the worst. This is one of the central reasons that we should be prepped or prepared. What do I mean? I mean, there WILL BE PANIC on a massive scale, but as you say, we should do whatever we can to avoid that reaction. We should be in a position to "not panic". In other words, when the rest of the world is in a state of panic, we should have already put ourselves in a position to simply stay home and stay out of the mess. Whatever extra things we might have needed should already be taken care of, and if there are smattering of things that we need last minute, that should be taken care of immediately on day one. I have extra of almost everything I can think of. Batteries, light bulbs, feminine products, spices, food, water, duct tape, plumbers tape, shower curtains, towels, underwear, socks, t-shirts, shoes, toothpaste, dental floss, deodorant, OTC meds, first aid, antibiotics, water filters, blankets, skincare lotion, soap, playing cards, games, and even an unopened TV + dvd/blu-ray player should something breakdown. The point I make with the list is that we need to think long-term and comprehensive. When thinking about how much Silver we need for SHTF, I'm of the mind that people should think in terms of 3 things. First is cash. In the immediate aftermath of a true SHTF, this will still have value. My own advice to people is to determine exactly what it would cost to maintain their current lifestyle (i.e. pay all of their current bills) for a period of 3 months, and begin a process of gathering that much cash to have on-hand or where you can get at it easily in a disaster. For most people, at least in my area, this is going to be a minimum of $5, 000 to $15, 000. For me, it's minimally $10, 500. Second, take your monthly figure in dollars, and convert that to Gold (approx. 2 full ounces) and Silver (approx. 150 full ounces). Third, have 4 dollars face value of 90% Junk/Constitutional Silver for each day of a 3 month or 90 day period, which comes out to approximately 2.9 ounces of 90% per day or around 90 ounces for a 3 month period. For me, each 4 dollar face value amount starts with a 1921 Morgan or 1922 Peace dollar, then two half dollars (probably '64 Kennedy or a 60's Franklin is best), 4 Washington Quarters (preferably '60 to '64), and 10 good condition dimes (Mercury preferred). This is of course, a more detailed description of the basic minimums than I’ve given before, but I’ve thought about this for a long time and can get more detailed than this. I think this kind of thing is really a must for “Americans” alive today. It is the best and one of the only ways to mitigate the impacts of what is coming, though nothing will shield you entirely. And keep in mind that this situation is likely to persist for years, and possibly more than a decade. So when you think about that, keep that in mind. The minimum is what you should shoot for, but when you reach that level, you should continue to go much much further. I'm glad you're doing these kinds of videos because I think it's important to normalize resiliency and redundancy that we've built into our lives for the purpose of dealing with the direction and the ultimate destination of this nation. What is that destination? It looks like bankruptcy, depression, tyranny, 2nd rate and possibly even 3rd world status, should things go universally the wrong way. I hope that worst-case scenario doesn't happen, but I try to be a realist, and so far the American people have not reached the point that they are willing to really sacrifice in order to stop the looming disaster that is heading our way. The idea that Silver and/or Gold are going to shoot to the moon is probably true ultimately, but the status of our world will be falling through the floor at the same time, so it's absolutely nothing that we should be looking forward to. My personal goal is five Troy Pounds (60 Troy Ounces) of Silver and a Half a Troy Pound (6 Troy Ounces) of Gold. The way I see it, that’s the bare minimum of PM that I need to survive for the critical first six months of a SHTF scenario..

Even if the entire planet doesn't embrace silver and gold, there will be those who will.
Should things go seriously sideways, those people will find each other and survive.
