Four years later, I’ve come across your channel! I’m learning so much from you. Your explanations as you paint are so clear and helpful. I particularly loved this video. I’m a South African living in Portugal. You’re inspiring me from across the world! Thank you.

Man I MISS the woods!! I'm in Hawaii now and have decided to try some oil paints. I got frustrated with acrylics and gave up painting for decades. I love your limited palette and you are so right it is the best way to start for sure, and I may even always keep it very limited. I am new to your channel and this is the second one I'm watching. You are a true modern day master and I LOVE what I'm learning from you so far. THANK YOU MUCH for making these available and helping beginners. It's a real gift!!

Great work, Kyle, I really enjoy watching you lay out your design and how you use "finger painting" to get started. This is a great way to not get tied up with details. You red results are sotrue to the shapes and colors. Good job on the video. I really enjoy watchinvg you work.

Beautiful and helps me to think looser! Also I like that you have paint on your jacket, messy like me 😅
