The 1st bride was so sweet & fun. I also would also like to put on record that she had the BEST entourage out of EVERY bride who has EVER been on this series. They were so supportive & didn't put her opinion down on any of the dresses. I also like to state how great the 2 employees on here were & how helpful they were to the bride.

An update for those wondering, Marie_Therese met her now husband 2 months after filming this. LOL Her Mom is doing okay and made her wedding in Scotland in September. She didn't end up wearing her Mom's dress because she gained weight and it no longer fit and with her Mom's encouragement she had a dress made that was somewhat resembling her mom's dress. She explained all of this on TikTok.

They were so good to Marie at the end, even though she didn't actually buy a dress from them. They made it a wonderful experience for Marie and her Mom, despite terrible circumstances.

I relate a lot to Marie. My mom was diagnosed with incurable stage 4 renal cancer in October of 2020. I grew up watching SYTTD with her and when she asked me what I wanted to do with her, I said wedding dress shopping. She and I went to David’s Bridal and had the whole store to ourselves due to COVID policies. I was also single at the time. She passed on July 1st, 2022, but I’m so grateful I had that moment with her.
