#1 My Awakening: The Ocean of Emotion.

This poem came to me when i was at home one month into the recovery of decades of alcohol and drug abuse. After burying my emotions and covering them over as if they did not exist with drugs and alcohol, all of my feeling's began to come flooding back to me in waves of emotions. I am from now on going to turn all of these waves of emotions into poems as i have found that this is the only way for me to deal with such strong feelings. All of my writing will be unique and cover a randomly different topic each time, as i have no control over when, why and how they come flooding inside of me. My aim is to also show " YOU " or anyone else, that we can all face our Demons in our own special ways, if we only try. Wow, , , as a addict all I can say is that was on point...x Takes balls to put ones emotions on paper, never mind to write a poem.
