Super good tips, I 100% agree! I think I was extremely lucky to get my first reptile from a breeder rather than a pet shop and she recommended I have the enclosure fully set up and ready for a week before I picked up my gecko so it could warm up completely and I could adjust the temperature correctly (using all the equipment took a few days to fully get the hang of). Plus she made recommendations on actual products and I could send her pictures of the enclosure and got feedback on it. A great breeder is worth their weight in gold if you’re new! I did a ton of research myself, but she gave me the confidence. :)

I am in between 8 and 12 (can't say my real age) and I love reptiles and when I was eight I got my first dog she is is literally the best thing that happened to me
Anyway and I thought I wanted a chameleon I really did want one and we messaged this place called sounds fishy somewhere in North Port look it up if you want to go buy a reptile from there I really recommend them and then we found out that they do not like to be held and me and my mom were instantly like no so I used to have a bearded dragon but she died a few days after getting her and the place called sounds fishy so that they had two more bearded dragons in stock one of them was a rescue he was missing three toes when I saw him I immediately fell in love with him and I decided to name him Charmander and I love My Little bearded dragon
