Attacks on "the tech industry" are about posturing. That said, the largest tech firms need to bee held accountable for bad practices.

The guys facts are wrong. The mRNA vaccines need to be transported at -90° C to maintain the full expiration date.

You can transport mRNA vaccines at 2° C ("milk temperature") but the day you load the vaccine on the truck is the first day of a now 10 week expiration date.

Maybe that would be OK for the early days of the public vaccination program. The vaccine was being put into arms within days of arrival.

It’s not tech in and of itself that’s the problem; it’s the excessive greed and cruelty (not only in tech, but in too many monopolies or oligarchies) due to the focus on the me instead of the us.

So....what? The tech industry shouldn't be held accountable for price gouging or oligarchical behavior?

Is this dude for or against democracy...someone help me out here

It's not about treating them as an enemy. It's about accountability.

Fun fact, Dippin Dots helped with vaccine distribution!
"Stan Jones, the chief development officer for Dippin' Dots, told TODAY Food that the freezers were developed with a subsidiary company in order to provide super cold storage to other industries, such as medical facilities."

The problem is, while giants of the tech industry are highly intelligent and educated, with a great amount of expertise in their fields, many of them are horrible people.

The concept is good but you need someone who is aiming for the goal for the people: for your example, if Amazon was charged with vaccine deployment as you mentioned, the person in charge of deployment would need to have the end in sight of getting those vaccines to the people or to the destinations to give to the people

But lately it feels people are more concerned about getting all they can so if be worried the person in charge would be concerned more on profits since it feels that’s the trait we’re giving a lot of major companies lately (justifiably)

How about no, that's exactly what causes government overreach.
