(Male Adult Member )envisaged in Section 64 of code Criminal procedure 1973 is deleted #G Kavitha Vs Union of India Judgement of Hon’ble High Court of Madras dated 29th of June 2006Held #section 64 of Cr P C 1973 as violative of #Articles 14&15 of constitution of India being gender specific (Male adult ) Though not struck down these gender specific provisions yet made recommendations for making necessary amendment by substituting gender neutral Equality as to gender is brought by changing Adult Member in #Section 66 of B NSS 2023 as Male Adult Member as was earlier existing in section 64 of Cr P C 1973
