I dig the song!! The older I get, more people I've known have died from addiction and alcoholism (chirosis, pancreatitis, hepatitis c, overdosing or drinking themselves to death.). This song reminds me of my 20's & 30's, working, getting drunk fighting with the ol man, have always been a rebel, trying to do my best to raise my daughter & sheild her from an abusive alcoholic. He was a violent drunk. We were both alcoholics. Got sober in 2001 & we turned it all around. Started drinking again after my Momma died, after 8 years of sobriety. Eventually, I zigged when I should have zagged & lost everything. Been sober since 2014 & in such a better place. I am so blessed.
I felt like sharing this for anyone who is sick & tired of being sick & tired! There is help out there.

Im back ! I ve had this song on replay ! I realize now what struck the most about this song ...my brother would have loved it . Sadly he passed in 2011 due to an over dose ... so it touches me when I see someone doing well and shake those demons .... so now when I listen this song ...I think about my brother and I pray everyone out there who is in his position just reaches out and asks for help . Nothing is ever too bad and it's never too late 💜
