Sorry to nit-pick, but that wasn't "hands-free". Is there a way--say in your vehicle--to activate Google Now without using your hands? You know, "hands free"?

First off the only time it works is when you open up Google Now. It will not work unless you have Google Now open. Secondly, make sure Hotword Detection is on in the Google Now settings.

I'm running VanirBean ROM, link is description.

However, I'm not happy with the development of it. They are putting different kernels in it and various apps I want to use aren't working with it. They are also customizing in other ways I am not a fan. I like stock ROMs which I can then make minor customizations of my own to.

I think I am going to switch to this Razor's Jelly V2.6 @ RootzWiki

Is handsfree a special setting? I have the official jelly bean on my nexus but no matter how hard I yell 'google' at my phone, it doesn't start google now...
