loving the new rocket 3 …just can't get myself to part with that sort of dosh for a bike or any vehicle, you can pick up a 2.3 rocket for around 6k and customise it to look slick..they have more power than anyone needs .

Don't know much about engines do you? Shortened the stroke to give a much lower engine. What did they shorten the stroke by, 50mm or more?

How does a 2.5 Liter (!!) bike only put out 165hp and similar torque? Plus my eyes still sting. I mean great job making the bike lighter but it’s no Diavel. Don’t get this at all.

Someone tell Triumph to just make the bike as simple as possible. One computer for the fuel injection system and that's all. Analog gauges, a key for the ignition, and that's IT! These things are notoriously unreliable, and the causes are mostly electronic in nature. Why do you think 50 year old Hondas still work?
