Why didnt you make this video in HDR? It would make your point seem more sincere and less like an advertisement for Dell. And to be clear, I love HDR and agree with it being the future. It just comes off poorly when people promote something that they dont bother learning how to do and showing it to the masses.

Hey Brandon. Glad more people are talking about HDR video delivery. I did a series on HDR on my own channel including a very recent video.

One thing I want to point out from your video is that you said you can capture HDR in cameras that have HLG PQ or Dolby vision. Yes all true, however you can also capture HDR from any camera that has a Log profile and has 10 bit color information. So if people who film on cameras are use to filming in Log well they don’t have to change the acquisition stage they just need to make sure the log isn’t clipping in either the whites or blacks amd just transform the log to rec2020 instead of rec709.

Unfortunately they’ve slapped HDR sticker on every other monitor. With only a few mini led hdr monitors out, you’ll have to pay that premium until they become the mainstream panel.

You loose credibility when you're not upfront with your audience. People will appreciate your content more if you say Dell sponsored the video from the get go.
