Studio Stories 1: Where Do I Begin?: This is the first of four short films about Lauren Child's creative process when illustrating Astrid Lindgren's Pippi Longstocking Goes Aboard. Lauren talks about where she starts when illustrating a book: reading the text, making scribbles on the manuscript, thinking about how words can become illustrative in themselves, and a lot more besides.

The films were made to celebrate 75 Years of Pippi Longstocking, the creation of Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren.
