Hey YouTube community, today I encountered a scam involving a text message sent to my cell phone. The message claimed that a USPS package was delayed due to an incomplete door number and asked me to reconfirm my address by clicking on an included link.
Initially, I didn't notice anything suspicious about the domain because I had recently sent packages through USPS. However, upon visiting the site, which closely resembled the official USPS website, I realized that the tracking number provided was unfamiliar. After googling the tracking number, search results revealed information about scams rather than actual package tracking.
Upon closer inspection of the domain name (USINPS.com), it became clear that this wasn't affiliated with USPS at all.
