What I find is really interesting about entrepreneurial people, investors, etc. is that they love talking shop about things that work and if they can tell that you are serious about what you’re talking about they will give you genuinely solid advice that you can’t find in a book or on a YouTube video, and they will give it to you freely without expecting anything in return, but of course, that develops the relationshipthat makes you want to return the favor out of the goodness of your heart and not because you owe them. If you talk about starting a business with someone who works at McDonald’s they’ll be like yeah that’s cool but if you talk about starting a business with someone in venture capital, they’ll say tell me about your business plan.

If you are in your mid-20s vc is not for you (yet). You have no expertise, barely any life experience, do not know how brutal it is to start a Business from scratch, let alone how to scale it up to a billion$ company, you do not know the right questions to ask a founder, your network is unimpressive. I honestly do not even know why vc analyst is even a thing.
