There's a chance the team could go 0-6 headed into their Week 7 bye, and could face other rookie QBs CJ Stroud with the Houston Texans and Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts with the possibility of Bryce Young and the Panthers losing to other rookie QBs they passed on in the 2023 NFL Draft.

I honestly hate that everybody is talking about the QB all the time. Football is a team sport. Carolina needs more weapons and depth than another QB. I hate that we keep mortgaging the future but that seems to the trend in this whole country . No more trade ups, no more give everything away for 1 position, not everybody can have Patrick Mahomes

As long as Bryce young is in the game which is unfortunate the Panthers have ( 1 ) slight chance to win against the Colts.. If we can't beat the Colts Panthers will not win a game at all this year....

The things that concern me are the offensive line big time and the fact that Bryce has zero urgency when he's back there. His whole thing coming out was impeccable pocket presence, and ability to go through progressions and make off schedule throws and we've seen none of that so far. Our offensive line has been a turnstile essentially and everyone, including ickey, but especially the interior has been getting punished. Seattle has ZERO pass rush and we even let them get through constantly. I want the offense to open up for Bryce but I also see he has almost no time to let a play actually develop. It's gonna be a process and I really hope by the end of the year we have something figured out because we're playing poorly in every single aspect of offense

Fans saying they wanted CJ Stroud might be missing the bigger picture that the error was in trading up for this year's draft class of QB's. It's true that Stroud probably did have the best NFL translatable skillset but we would have been hamstrung either way with the trades we made to get him. The texans have actually started a rebuild the right way - I think if the roles were reverse and CJ was a panther because we traded up, and Bryce was a Texan that Bryce would look like a much better QB at this point

Tepper basically spent our future to get a QB just because he enjoyed going out to dinner with him. You can't run a franchise like that, you have to let your decision makers do what you hired them to do without braindead influence on the ownership's part. You can't let a non-football guy get intimately involved with your football program without his fingerprints showing up on the polished surfaces. This isn't a highschool football program, or a college program where you can have success being incompetent AND involved. There's a reason a lot of owners have a hands off approach after they hire their staff. Tepper's involvement should be showing up to games with a panthers hat on and cutting checks to the guys making it happen. Why would you ever trust his opinion on a football related topic to begin with?? Ask him about money that is his wheelhouse

Drake Maye by far is the best quarterback this year and last year. Meaning Drake was way better than Bryce last year too. Panthers should've waited and drafted Drake Maye which is better than Caleb Williams.. Bryce is a Total BUST!!
