This is why I enjoy old clubs. Its not just the look and feel if the item, its also about the people who played them. A great little mini documentary. Thanks for this one, yet again.

Amazing! Thought I'd heard of nearly every obscure event in golf history but this fascinated me...great find!

Playing with one club only would require a lot of finessing and manufacturing shots, as you found out. However the outcome was surprising. Gloria Minoprio was definately marching to the beat of a different drummer. Thanks for a very interesting vlog.

Thanks for the bio of the most enigmatic player in golf. Hard to beat that. Johnny McDermott, first American to win our Open and having won twice, is also a worthy consideration. There's a poignant episode in his life with Palmer. But his story is more sad. Thanks again for your vlog.

Interesting story. I only knew a little of this, I think via a Henry Longhurst article, so good to get a more detailed account. Nice hickory play too!

one club...you sure take challenges. A bit back, I read an interview w/Mickey Wright who, after she retired, used 2 clubs - her 6 iron & a putter AND she still played in the 80s. How about that for your next challenge...your favorite 6 iron and favorite putter & see what happens. Could be fun.
