I love how controlled and calm the scene starts out and how it very gradually turns into complete chaos by the end of it.

I loved the way Lea's hair bounced during her solo, amazing camera work and choreography. Every dancer had a unique spark of energy in this scene

6:12 The moment Gaspar starts to disorientate the audience. We start on a static shot of them dancing for the first half but then when the song changes the camera then starts spinning along with the record for 4 minutes straight. This is the point where the drugs start to kick in so he makes the audience feel as sick as the characters by spinning the camera as the dance circle gets more and more chaotic. This uneasy dizzy feeling carries the audience through the batshit crazy second half of this movie.

So far seen this movie 4 times; about to watch it for a 5th soon. This is a film worth studying and multiple viewings. I don't think I'll ever experience something quite like this in the cinema on a sensory and hypnotic level.

The credit sequence alone is phenomenal. Going to the trouble of giving every credit it's own unique font and/or logo, and crediting not only the actors/dancers, but the soundtrack artists right alongside them really makes you pay attention to all the people who helped make this masterpiece.

Aside from Daddy, who was the DJ, the only characters that didn't dance were Emmanuelle, Bart and Selva.

what the film really worked out perfectly: you miss the moment when the acid is kickin in for the dancers. you don't feel or see that moment while watching the film - you get surprised by suddenly knowing: damn, they are high af.

exactly like when you take drugs in real life: you for example eat a pill and focus on waiting for the kick....and suddenly when you already forgot about it you get suprised by knowing - dang, i'm high.

great movie, loved the scene!

Watched this movie 5 times in the past two weeks, can't believe I was so late to the party. Truly a masterpiece!
