People will think I'm crazy, but the old engine was better. The lighting used to so amazing, especially at night, and the water reflections are buggy and too clear now. Not realistic.

Do yall ever notice how weird the water reflections have been for the last few years? Like it glitches out sometimes?

That said, I still think they did a great job replicating OG graphics for the most part.

I remember the RPG ammo was unlimited so you could fire like 60 rpg rounds they need to bring this back

It’s not really the same, but I guess it’s hard to get that similar. Look on unreal engine 5 because it’s not the same version as Fortnite back then it was made on unreal engine 3 or 4

I hope they update it in the future and make as OG as possible then the gamemode would be the best

I think it's a step in the right direction compared to 2023 "Season OG" but I still don't think it will be as good as an exact replica would be. The reason I liked old Fortnite was because the pacing was different, there were no bots, you couldn't easily run away from a fight so you had to think about every move you did, and there were sound effects that no longer exist that helped build pressure. It felt like the Hunger Games, and I don't think the different sounds, UI, and graphics will capture what I liked about old Fortnite. Just feels like Epic did their take on what it would be like if it was made in Creative.

I am sorry but how did they mess up the colours this badly compared to the source material I know it's nitpicking but they are trying to go the authentic route yet they can't manage to implement simple colour correction like Rewind Royale a UEFN map managed to create a 1:1 recreation of Chapter 1, anyways I hope they can fix up the lighting and colours so it's actually more accurate but other than that I am excited either way.
