Revisiting The Gillette Labs Razor: Worth It?!

Another excellent review, , Larry! I hope all is well with you and yours. Right now, I favor the Schick Hydro 5. It gives me the same level of comfort as the Gillette Proglide. Interestingly, Schick has introduced a new Designer Razor (as it is called in the UK). It seems to be a souped up Quattro. I hope it is released in the U.S. All the best.

You can purchase razor savers that greatly extend the life of a cartridge (by months) and I agree the heated labs razor is the best cartridge I’ve ever used.

If I end up having an issue affording it at 5 dollars a razor I’ll probably switch to something cheaper, but my situation is a little different than most people. Me and my spouse both work from home. We share one car which is a hybrid, and we don’t send the kids to daycare. We downsized from a rent house to an apartment that was much cheaper. Affording nicer bath/shave products is a lot easier for us. I hope I get the heated razor eventually. Also I noticed the prices are always fluctuating so it’s better to buy the razors in bulk at the cheapest price possible. I don’t care about the exfoliating bar I just feel like they had to put something in that little space. My second choice would probably be Harry’s or schick. Not a fan of dollar shave club at all. I grew up in the crappy razors like BIC and DSC and I’m done with those. I feel like I get more micro cuts from cheaper razors and it’s especially apparent when I put on my aftershave which razor cuts my face more 😂 love your videos man! Look at the K cups in coffee. Crazy more expensive over a bag of coffee just for that convenience. You can get a good shave for much cheaper but you can get a quicker more convenient for more. It's all luxury we got spoiled too. Honestly tho i'm like you i have to not only shave my face but whole head and i think that makes a big difference in getting the more expensive shavers. If i just shaved my face i prob could be fine with a Mach 3!

I haven’t tried this razor. I’m using Gillette skinguard right now. Extremely comfortable & blades can be bought on Amazon cheaper under the name king c Gillette neck refills

in the 1970s Gillette had a heated foam dispensing device. its all marketing gimmicks. they have not improved razors at all. mach3 used to a good smooth razor in the 90s many people don't even know they changed the designed in 2016 made the blades thinner to save costs..made it worse rougher shaver
