About Skate 1:
EA Skate is a skateboarding video game for Xbox 360, Xbox One (Backwards Compatible), PlayStation 3 and mobile phones. It was developed by EA Black Box and released in 2007. Skate is the closest thing to skateboarding without actually putting your feet on a board, delivering an authentic boarding mecca like no other videogame. Skaters don't follow rules, they can choose how they want to progress through the game. Open progression allows gamers to skate how they want to skate.

One of the best parts about the game is the fairly believable world and kind of big levels at that. I think the recent games like Session and Skater XL _really_ should focus on adding stuff that makes the world just that tad more 'alive'. Don't get me wrong, I like Session and Skater XL and I don't expect them to fill up those games with a whole lot of NPCs and such. But... it would be better if they did.

Ali Boulala!!! I skated one of his flip boards back in those days. This dude was a super gnarly skater. His style is something I’ll always remember. He has come along way after getting caught in the destructive crossfire of causality. Cheers to this guy. The mercy of the universe is beyond immense. 🤙

I had played 2 and 3 as a teen, I never got 1 and just got my hands on 1 last night with gamepass, it looks amazing, has a very cool aesthetic. Makes me feel so nostalgic and excited

I recently booted up my 360 and started playing Skate 2 again. That game has really held up 12 years later. Can't wait for the Skate franchise to return and hopeful it isn't ruined by EA 🤦🏾‍♂️
