Показать описание
Woodworking and DIY tool brands no longer sell these drill tools. Back in seventies one could connect these vintage accessories to the drill to have a jigsaw, a drill powered lathe, an emery or even a drill powered scroll saw. If you like my woodworking projects with limited tools, you will love these vintage tools. These where the next level woodworking tools in the seventies.

Maybe in another woodworking videos we'll see in more detail these vintage woodworking and DIY tools. For now I can tell you that I was very surprised by how well the scroll saw cuts. This tool is reconverted from the jigsaw machine by holding it inverted to the workbench and cuts using a marquetry hair.
It cuts better than my homemade jigsaw table:
The drill lathe kit was also surprising, since another one that I showed you years ago does not work well at all, but with this drill powered lathe I have a wood lathe that works very well and that allows easy and fairly accurate turning of wood.
But even so, the table saw for drill surprised me, since it is very easy to assemble but quite stable, it has its riving knife behind the cutting disc and it incorporates a curious lift system for regulating the cutting height. But most of all, something I miss on many modern table saws, this table saw has a miter guide that slides with a very decent fit in the groove that runs parallel to the cutting disc. And it is that in many cheap modern saws the runner that runs in that groove usually has too much play.
How I make my woodworking tools for my homemade woodworking shop:
The drill powered jigsaw is surely the most popular vintage tool of this kind of DIY tools, and in this case it comes with a circle cutting jig.
Here you can watch my woodworking trick to cut perfect circles with a simple jigsaw jig:
And the emery for the lathe, that can also be connected to the drill with the help of a drill support, works perfectly and has the advantage that once disassembled it is an accessory that takes up very little space.
