Russia Threatens To Cut Off Gas To Poland After Country Declines To Pay In Rubles

Russian energy giant Gazprom told Poland’s main natural gas supplier PGNiG it will stop all gas flows to the country on Wednesday, the company said Tuesday, a month after Poland and many other countries rejected Russia’s demand to pay for gas in rubles.

It had been made so simple for them (pay in Euros to Gasprom, who will do the conversion in Euros and pay in Roubles to the Russian bank) and yet Poland refuses, again trying to be the most defiant and most hateful towards Russia. It’s business, you don’t pay your bill, you get disconnected...
