Grumpy Builder Accidentally Adopts Little Girl | @DramatizeMe

Do you think people are born kind? 

A little girl ran up to Jack and begged him to help her mom. He rushed after the kid and soon saw a woman lying on the ground unconscious. Jack wanted to drive her to the hospital at once. But his colleague reminded him that if he didn’t show up to work on time, their nasty boss wouldn’t even think twice about firing him. Still, Jack couldn’t just leave. He decided to risk his career to help someone. Soon, they arrived at the hospital. The doctor explained to Jack that the woman needed urgent surgery, otherwise she wouldn’t survive. But she didn’t have insurance, so the medic refused to help her. 

The child began to cry. And Jack couldn’t stand such injustice. He took it upon himself to pay for the woman’s surgery. He handed the doctor the money, which wasn’t enough. He promised to get the rest the moment he finished his shift that day. Jack reassured the kid that he’d take care of it and headed back to work. The second he was gone, however, the medic pocketed the envelope with cash and told the woman to get out.
