Finally, another release from the Original Trilogy. It pains me to wait so long when only collecting OT figures because so few have been released recently. I will guarantee that more people are excited over OT Star Wars than an Agatha Christie figure.

Something about this hits different than the Mando version. Maybe because it looks more put together than the disheveled remnant look? I definitely love that nice Stormtrooper white though and I'm glad they added the rifle instead of just that dinky little boot blaster.

somehow I missed this preview, i was out of town for a couple days and thought I'd caught up and spotted this one. That helmet, maybe they will fix that when it goes into production, I guess we'll see. It does look like an easy fix if they do. thanks Justin and thanks Ryan for the great photos.

The scout from rotj wasn't super glossed, the outfit had a semi gloss to make the wethering stand out more realistic, this was done intentional to deter light reflection as it can bleed out the wethering while filming in daylight

I've read more than a couple people mention the helmet gap as egregious, but for me the trooper who tries to capture Leia in ROTJ also has a gap. The black showing underneath the chest armor is more noticeable to me.

They really need to fix the issue with the helmet gap. I hate it when companies reuse old sculpts and therefore make things inaccurate. It happens the most with the Rogue One Stormtrooper sculpt.

Like many, I held off for this. Glad to see the appropriate detail differences. One major issue I have with the Mando version is the chest plate armor "pectorals" seem to be too long and hang too low, whereas this ROTJ version has the chest armor looking more accurate in scale and how it sits on the scout trooper's torso. Much better this time. I like this version's white trooper/brown speeder bike contrasting colors better as well.

Great video, thankyou. Personally I think the Sideshow Scout Trooper helmet is more accurate to the movie but that won’t stop me grabbing this version!

I took a little time to compare the official pics with movie stills, and it's noteworthy that the lenses of the goggles are a little smaller on this version. The Mando version is spot on. Which is a little confusing, since they carried over the gap in the faceplate, but the smaller lenses suggest that it is a new sculpt.
But screw it, I put down my preorder deposit. I've been waiting for this thing for years.

Held out on the Mando version for this one, and it looks stunning 😍. Yes, it was a money grabbing move, but I’m here for it haha. Hopefully they do this again with the Phantom Menace STAP and battle droid soon 🙏🏼

This was a tough one. Got the Sideshow speeder and trooper.
HT Mando Speeder and trooper.

Dont need 3 bikes….. especially as i have swoop bike and Mando himself.

Just the Scout Trooper on its own then. 😕

The helmet is accurate. It doesn't close all the way, you can see the gap in the scene where the scout trooper points a gun to Leia before meeting wicket.

Shame I missed out on Endor Luke but I can’t wait to use this with Leia! Was hoping they’d make this.

HOT TOYS got it wrong. The helmet must be closed, no gap. They should fix it prior to production. Other than that, Its awesome!!!
