Rally to the Border

Donald Trump has ordered the separation of children from their asylum-seeking families, resulting in the incarceration of 2500 kids in prison-like detention centers across America. It is now clear that many of these families may never be reunited. On June 23rd over 1500 people rallied to protest the atrocious policies of the Trump administration and make their voices heard. Speakers included Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Mom and Actor Kristen Bell, Senator Ben Allen, Councilman Mike Bonin, Pastor William Smart and others... Throughout the morning, we collected over 10,000 toys, clothing and other items that will be delivered to children being wrongfully detained across the US. After the June 23rd Rally, a delegation of 75 boarded two buses to San Diego to visit the OTAY Detention center and to hand out toys to kids being detained at Casa San Diego.
