Learn how I added a cheap $1 PIR motion detector (HC-SR501) to a Harbor Freight light fixture (Luminar Indoor Item 62902). This is applicable to any LED light fixture.

Neat little project. Using a MOSFET instead of a BJT would give you lower voltage drop and higher current capacity. Also this light cries out for a simple USB power conversion. V2.0 perhaps?

You should try to modify a 80cc 2-stroke engine they normally put them on bikes maybe you could put it on something different like a go-kart or a mini boat really getting the 80cc usage usage that I believe is underrated or what do you think

I powered up a battery operated light using an old USB charger so I never have to change the batteries. I have low voltage transformer with 12v output, which I want to use to power up outdoor solar lights. Solar light batteries are poor and light goes out pretty quick. It would be helpful if you can show how that can be done.

What is the leakage in the sensor? How long before the batteries die?
