I think you have just made every major lighting manufacturer shat themselves, honestly what you have created is flawless, i didn't expect this long awaited update video to be so major i was expecting it to be similar to the version one but with a diffrent voltage, pixel mapping and a little more compact. But you have easily outdone yourself, congrats! I'm going to share this video with everyone I know who might show any signs of being remotely interested. The possibilities are endless!

AHHHH. Dude. As an electrical engineer and self proclaimed lighting designer myself, this is EXACTLY what I’ve wanted and looked to build myself. This is so so cool and am kind of mad that I finally got approved for budget to make V1 and now I definitely have to go back and ask for more to make this thing. So cool, and good luck with this!!

The project's really coming along! The aluminum spool sides being cut from the same sheet is genius! Saves money and waste, and no loss in performance! Looks cool, too! Glad you're working with the addressable LEDs. Just adds to it!
Keep up the great work!!!

You just earned a lifetime subscriber. I’m blown away by the concept and implementation but your presentation is spot on. I see huge impact coming to the underground/renegade scene! Tremendously inspiring and a top job well done - thank you!

Holy freakin whut!! This video has so many levels of mindblowingness. Everything seems incredibly well thought out to actual, practical situations of creative individuals. I’m speechless

As an independent DJ, I absolutely love this!! Especially the part where you use Touch Designer, if a DJ can just use his music as an input and have the DMX react to it, that sounds ideal for any music!

As someone looking at a DIY lighting solution for my current musical projects, I just want to say thank you for this whole series in general! Your explanation is in depth and completely thought out, and you have genuinely thought all of the kinks!<3 I cant wait to get started building this as I have the money to grab the parts!

As a performer who hacked together a light set up that gets the job done but is VERY inefficient to put together (taking anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to set up), I am so glad I was able to find this page so I can upgrade to something so efficient. Now EVERY performance I have can be set up with lights, instead of only a select few where I have time. Thank you so much for this work and looking forward to this product.

This is huge 🔥 implemented the V1 on our bands current tour, and it’s been a breeze. Hype for the future of PETAL!!

ok! I came here from the version 1 video and already commented on that one that you should start up a manufacturing company, and so this was a real treat to see that you're already doing that!!!! And so far from what I can see this is going to be a HUGE hit!!! The simplicity of setup and sheer power of the effect blows away most ground systems I've seen. The design of the spool is genius to save on materials but still look amazing! And I've already mentioned in the other video but I'll say it again....Canadians rock!

As a musician and former lighting designer turned electrical engineering student, this is awesome and tickles all of my fancies. I've been working on designs for something that is basically one of these, but I've been struggling with a couple of aspects of what I need it to do. I think that I can adapt some of your design here to make my project work, as well as a couple of other projects I've got planned but haven't been able to get around to yet.

This is AMAZING work. Really super super cool man. I'm here to support and encourage this journey as our band has recently started looking into DIY lighting kits to up our live shows. Very impressive work

i think you just changed the industry. cant wait to see the full kit in production.. your website should have the same aesthetic as the 13:10 "choose your configuation" section. that looks so slick.
