2020 has brought some interesting and unexpected experiences, hasn't it? As we round the corner into summer and find ourselves staying close to home, we felt it was important to reach out to a few of our fellow Wildwood brethren to catch-up, share stories, and spread the love!

In this series, Greg Koch and friend, guitarist, and author Deke Dickerson sit down to chew the gristle. Subjects range from how Deke fell in love with roots music, Deke's first guitars and his early run-ins with Roy Buchanan, the pair's shared love of vintage equipment, to Deke's upcoming co-biography about Merle Travis written from found material, Deke's signature Hallmark guitar, and a showcase of some of Deke's fun and unique instruments.

I wasn't fully aware of Deke Dickerson until seeing him on tour with Reverend Horton Heat. Deke doesn't get enough credit and attention. Fabulous musician and great person. His guitar knowledge is vast and is always doing something for the community
This conversation between these 2 legends was delightful

Two of my favorite Guitarists! Thanks fellas! I'm likin' this thistle gristle. Remembering and making guitar history.

I’d love to know the set time on the echo. I think Deke said something about 133milliseconds years ago but someone else told me 90. I’d also love to see Joel Paterson on the show!

I love Gregg, I really do, but does he know ANY guitarists that are not middle aged white dudes? All of these interviews are with middle aged white dudes. Does Gregg know any women who play the guitar? How about interviewing Christone "Kingfish" Ingram or Samantha Fish, or the awesome Isaiah Sharkey? I ain't no beancounter, and all of the people he's interviewed are great, but really dude... open it up a little
