i looked everywhere for an example of a form with multiple fields! my problem was all the fields in the form got the same value.. found the right way of doing it here! Thank you!

I believe we should not perform setState very often(unless necessary) as it significantly affects the performance.
When we do perform setState, it causes the component to re-render. Thus making the performance slow.
I hope netninja did that just for teaching and demonstration.
Correct me if i am wrong.
