*sorry if this is kind of a long comment. But I want to explain how much you inspired be, Jake*

When I was 16, I started watching the show "Arrow" and I found Stephen Amells strength and physique incredible. Eventually, I found out that he got that way not in the gym, but with bodyweight exercises. It motivated me to train, and for the following 9 months, I trained every single day. (I know. Bad idea. But I didn't know that, yet) and was getting frustrated that I wasn't really changing. Eventually, I gave up.

Then one day during early 2019, your video "5 month calisthenics transformation" appeared in my recommended. I thought " calisthenics? Isn't that what Stephen Amell did?". I clicked your video, and by the end I wanted to train again. I binge watched so many of your videos to learn, and that's when I found out why I was doing so poorly before. I had *terrible* form. My push-ups were too wide, I was doing them too fast, and I wasn't bringing my chest to the floor. My chin-ups, were done with half range of motion. For core work, I was only doing sit-ups, which were obviously not effective. (I do train my legs. But those were the only things I trained right) And finally, I realized I had massively overtrained. I didn't know any of this, and I feel like an idiot looking back on it.

So I began my new and improved journey. Thanks to your videos, I dramatically improved my form on chin-ups, push-ups, and learned much better ab exercises. I trained 3 days a week with lots of cardio, and followed a stricter nutrition plan based on your nutrition video. I got strong enough to do proper pull-ups, and even learned the pistol-squat and one arm push-up.
Whenever I didn't feel like training, I just watched that transformation video from you, and immediately wanted to push my body, again.

I remember your words "trust me my friend. You won't turn back when the results start to show" and by god you were right. I can't imagine turning away from training, now. It's been just under a year and my strength has increased by an incredible degree, my posture has improved, and my physique is becoming something I'm actually pretty happy with.

If your video hadn't been recommended to me that day, I might not be in the best shape of my life, right now. I might never have become comfortable in my own skin, since my physique before was skinnyfat. So I just want to say, Jake; thank you for inspiring me. Keep being awesome, my man!

I am sure you will read this comment. So I will tell you what I think.
I just stumbled upon your channel today. Have most certainly motivated me to get more invested into callisthenics more than I already am.
I think you have been making video's for a long time now, if I'm not wrong over 2 years already.
My point is: keep going. There will be a point where you think you're hitting (and you've probably already hit it many times) a wall and you don't want to continue making video's, or you don't see the point in it anymore, but if you keep going you will get the results you ask for. But it takes time and effort which I am sure you know.
You bring a great energy to your channel. But it just take time to get recognised, especially with all the mega high 'quality' videos about bodyweight training on YouTube already. It is hard to stand out. And I am not saying you're in it for the fame or the money, but being recognised for what you put out there is the least you can ask for.
Just some friendly words. Keep going!

Very helpful! A view from the side would be helpful for hand positioning from that angle.
