MJ was considered the greatest before he won 3 championships. Stats are justification. However in the pro sports there is something more. Its changing the game, elevating your sports to another level.
LJ is probably the best athlete and talent in basketball. But MJ elevated the game to a different level. Everyone wanted to be MJ, everyone knows his name around the world. Even before the internet. He is the GOAT.
