i dunno... i saw another person flying one that only reached 3/4's of a mile when the video feed cut out. thats 1/2 mile short of the claimed 1.24 miles. 80kmh = 49mph. at 49mph you'll reach your range limit of 1.24miles in 2min. with a ridiculously long 45min battery life thats a ridiculously short range.
the mavic pro is the same price range but a claimed 4.3 mile range. with only 27min of flight time you'll need two batteries to match the parrots flight time. the mavic claims 40mph so you should be able to reach its range limit with at least 50% of its battery life left over for the return home. it also comes with a 4k camera and gimbal so it wont make you so sick to watch the video. the mavic dont float and the parrot will.
if the disco could be purchased for more like 300-500 id probably choose it over the mavic. at the same price as the mavic, it has to at least match the range. in my opinion the range would make it a life saver if you get lost in the woods, mountains or desert. the mavic is also a lot smaller and portable so it could be folded up and put in a backpack. plus theres a chance the better video quality could enable someone whos lost to spot a cabin or something useful and or life saving further away.

for the money you cant beat the mavic.
