This video will show you how to fix the YouTube App's infamous "Error Loading Tap To Retry" error. It's pretty easy to do on iOS 6, iOS 7, iOS 8, iOS 9, iOS 10, and iOS 11. It works on every device I've tried. I've used this YouTube "Error Loading Tap To Retry" App fix on the iPhone 4s, iPad 2, iPad Mini, iPad Mini 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, and the iPod 4, iPod touch 5, and every other iOS 6, iOS 7, iOS 8, iOS 9 device that I've tried using this "Error Loading Tap To Retry" YouTube App fix on many devices, including old iOS devices. The YouTube App with "Error Loading Tap To Retry" was made well, but as the YouTube App with "Error Loading Tap To Retry" ages, it continues to become less supported as time goes by on the YouTube App. This is quite easy to fix on iOS 6, iOS 7, iOS 8, iOS 9, and every other supported YouTube App device. This "Error Loading Tap To Retry" problem is annoying for people who would like to repurpose an old iPad 2, iPad 3, iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, and many other perfectly capable devices of using the YouTube App. The error "Error Loading Tap To Retry" Is quite a good app otherwise, and can be used completely for free, with just simple Advertisement ads running on the YouTube App. I have not tested YouTube Premium services on this App because I do believe that since advertisement ads run on the YouTube App, more than likely even with the error "Error Loading Tap To Retry" YouTube Premium will most likely work on your device even if it's and Old iPhone 4 or 4s and an iPad 2, 3 ,4 5, and even the iPad 1. The error "Error Loading Tap To Retry" can be annoying, but at least it's an easy thing to work around.

If it does not work for you try putting in 17.25.34 instead. It is the newest youtube version and fixed the problem for me.

This worked on my new mini ipad 1 as far as launching the homepage
but it crashes when I click on a vid to view :/ before it crashed there were selections for like upgrading tweaks…downgrading…contacting support, etc. those didn’t work

I have the same device, but I have 15.10 in my file manager, but my youtube app is not working too properly, when I search, no videos pop up, except the channel. Even if I look at the channel, I cannot find any videos, even if I do newest, popular, or oldest.
