Hey fashionistas! You know how I always say to check out my Instagram for my everyday outfits? Well, today I’m bringing those looks straight to you in my first attempt at a vlog. I'm not the best at vlogging, but here I am, giving it a shot!

Hello! I’m Maria, and welcome to MM Design. Today’s video is all about how I packed 8 stylish outfits into a carry-on for a short trip. If I had more time, I’m sure I could’ve created even more fabulous looks. So, let’s get started!

📍 I packed:
- Three tops (one worn on the trip)
- Three bottoms (including comfy sweatpants and versatile pants)
- Two dresses and a onesie
- A pair of chafing shorts and a bathing suit (spoiler: no pool at the hotel!)
- My husband’s bomber jacket (perfect for the trip)
- Three bags and a bunch of accessories (sunglasses are a must!)

Oh, the shoes! I packed a pair of running shoes and heels, but I missed an important package that I was hoping to bring along. When I got home, there it was—new shoes with comfy, cushiony technology that are both trendy and comfortable.

📍 Vancouver Trip: As some of you might know, I live on Vancouver Island. For any fashion inspiration, Vancouver is the place to go. We took a windy ferry ride, enjoyed some delicious donuts, did some light shopping, and admired the city's beautiful architecture.

Fashion Highlights:
- A fancy bakery with irresistible sweets
- Window shopping at Holt Renfrew
- Exploring the latest trends
- Indulging in French macarons
- Admiring YSL's Spring 2024 lookbook

📍 Lessons Learned: Packing by color and fit is key. My cropped tops and high-waisted bottoms were easy to mix and match. Dresses can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. As long as everything matches in color you are good to go.

📍 Final Thoughts: Reflecting on this trip, I loved the challenge of creating multiple outfits from a small suitcase. Pairing everything by color and silhouette made it easy to mix and match.

Great editing on this video so it is not boring as I found so many vlogs are! It is very useful to show that style does not rely on the number of pieces you have but on the way they mix together! I wear mostly black, grey and white so it is easy to pack a carry on when travelling but you show that you can do it with colours and I liked it!!!
