are there experts in defending sex charges like there are experts in bankruptcy family law Etc and if so how do I go about finding these experts it's kind of a tough question because you know an expert is really somebody who is great at his or her field based off of experience I'm sure there are tons of defense attorneys out there when you are interviewing them they tell you they have tons of experience so on and so forth you know a lot of these guys who will claim hey I'm an expert in sex crimes therefore you should hire me when you ask the first question well how many of these cases have you taken to trial usually the answer tends to go to zero if you go to trial on a lot of these sex cases the the risk is huge ultimately it could be life in prison and a lot of these attorneys who don't have that much experience with these cases don't want to risk it in finding an expert the questions you ask are very important and you need to make sure that these attorneys that you're interviewing have done these cases have taken them to trial and have won a trial
