Yay I uploaded a full vid finally! Sorry that the quality isn't the best, it's the best I could render it. People haven't been calling this an animation meme so idk.

I’m interpreting this as Barb forcing Reid to do *smth* because of the song choice and the mouse and snake representation. It looks like she left him a note to meet her somewhere or just left a romantic, slightly unnerving message. He doesn’t seem like someone with a lot of confidence from his shy expression and probably feels compelled to do what she’s asking, it doesn’t help that Barb is literally gorgeous wowie

Looks like we have here another case of SA seemingly with a female predator this time. Thank you Lauren for this lovely content. I like it, it’s quite refreshing seeing things like this knowing this doesn’t get talked a lot in media with the only thing that’s talking about SA but with female predators is the blue story by Victation. But ofc, your video is up to interpretation. I’m just saying what I interpret it as.

This is just my interpretation, but the part where the masks on Barb's face changes could be a representation of what Reid sees Barb as. First we see a blank mask, maybe meaning that she used to be a stranger. Then there's a heart mask, meaning Reid starts to have feelings for Barb.
Then there's a praying mantis, which could be a start to Barb literally preying on Reid and grooming him, but then it changes to a scribbled masks, representing Reid's confusion over her grooming. Then it changes to a two faced mask which could be her lying to other people about her grooming.
I also want to point out the animal masks: The praying mantis I already explained, the sheep and the moth, which are both considered animals that are preyed on, could represent Barb painting herself as the prey, a victim to Reid. Then finally, it shows a snake, which is what she actually is. A liar and a predator. The video then goes on to show a snake with green eyes and a rat with brown eyes. The green eyes seems to represent Barb, since she is shown to have green eyes. The rat represents Reid, who has brown eyes. Since snakes are pretty much known to prey on rats, I think we know what this means.

I think this meme is talking about a lady who wears different personalities and such to get close to someone she wants to control. And once she's close enough will kind of be manipulative and controlling of that person, like the boy is the mouse and she is the snake, circling him and constantly looming over him. You can tell her doesn't want to be near her but he can't escape. It's hard to escape manipulation

Love the animations and also i realized something:
On 0:29 there are two animals: a snake and a mouse, What these two animals represent: The snake represent Barb while the mouse represent Reid. I know snakes hunt for prey so that means Barb see Reid as her prey who is planning to S/A Reid (and probably steal his heart out like she did with her other victims?)

Watching the video made me get random thoughts and/or opinions about the vid.

0:10 (The masks changing) resembles her personality towards the boy, and some of the masks resembles her *TRUE* self.

0:20 (The letter) the letter might've had something that made the boy uncomfortable and scared of her.


0:30 (the snake surrounding the mice) resembles the girl having power over the boy and he can't do anything about it.

0:31 (her hands going lower down the boy's back) SA (s3xual assault) or SH (s3xual harrassment).

0:34 (holding the heart) she only wants his love for her desire/s.

The heart: start of the relationship, dotting and adoring

Praying mantis: Representation of the relationship growing more intimate and physical, trapping the partner, SA(?)

Scribbles: weaponized incompetence, hides her maturity so partner acts like the bigger person

Double-face: Interacts differently with the partner than with friends and family or sudden mood changes when with partner (burst of anger over the smallest things then suddenly acts super sweet but not apologetic)

Stitches/Frankenstein: façade falls, shows her true nature

Wood: Salvation connotations, acts like she doesn't mean harm to partner and protects them from a bigger threat

Lamb: Purity and fragility, acts like the victim

Flowers: not really sure, maybe how outsiders perceive her? a beautiful flower with thorn because 'nobody is perfect', maybe brushing off her abusive tendencies

Devil: how partner perceives them, the relationship grows more abusive
