Mechanics on the Mechanics of Fast & Furious

With Fast & Furious 6 speeding into theaters, we thought we'd find some actual mechanics to break down the mechanics of "The Fast and the Furious" franchise. What we found... was pretty expected.

No offence to mechanics, but you were asking some physics questions their and mechanics don't really necessarily know physics. a mechanic just needs to know how to take a car apart and then put it back together.

There's a saying when you ask a mechanic-type how fast your car can go: "How much money do you have?"

That's a direct relationship.

Most of the action sequences in F+F, for that matter other car chase movie, are filmed at lower speeds. Then they dub in more engine noise in post production. The opening scene of the first F+F movie, where they were hijacking the truck is pure Hollywood.

On the rock's side, he's the tooth fairy, a football player, and a protective dad. On vin's side, he's a street racer, the iron giant, and riddick. Rock is roadblock, vin is XXX. I think the winner should be clear. Obviously... THE ROCK!!!
