A Blessing or a Curse | Christian Sermon by Troy Black

God tells the Israelites in Deuteronomy 11:26, "See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse." God warns His people that rejecting His commands leads to a curse, but He also says that following His commands brings blessing. As believers in Jesus Christ, we get to live in victory over the curse through faith in His finished work. However, how often do we still allow things into our lives that go against God's commands? When we do this, we make the decision to walk out of the blessing in that area. I believe that many of us could be living in a much greater place of blessing if we would only surrender our whole hearts and lives to Him.

God cleanses our heart, but the flesh is still sinful. We are to live to the best our abilties, the thing is the flesh is weak as law was and we need to let spirit lead and not try to legalise our flesh into righteousness, as we know Paul said our flesh is not subject to the law and neither indeed can be.
We are follow the spirit and not the law of the flesh, to obey God and his word.

Hey I just wanted to let you know that God loves you and He loves you enough to send His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for your sins. And Jesus Christ He rose three days later, and from rising on the third day He conquered death and from conquering death He can forgive our sin. And He is faithful and just to forgive if you will only ask Him, and if you do ask Him into your heart by admitting your a sinner believing God raised Jesus Christ from the dead, and confess your faith in Jesus that He is your Lord forever and ever, then you will go to Heaven to praise and worship and serve our God.
