OMAR DEAN

Omar Dean was a 20 year-old contestant from Melbourne, Victoria who auditioned for The X Factor in 2013 singing "Climax" by Usher and finished in the top six.

Dean stated that his own desire and passion, and encouragement from family and friends inspired him to audition.

At the age of 15, Dean was bullied at school for being overweight so he turned to music to cope with the bullying.

Dean's mother Rania then sent him to the United States to start a health kick, and when he returned to Australia he was a completely different person.
