The Design Institute of San Diego (DI) was founded in 1977 as a specialized college devoted to interior design. With a commitment to provide rich opportunities for learning, experimentation and growth to its students, DI prides itself in offering small classes, personalized support and one-on-one feedback from faculty and staff, and opportunities to participate in creative hands-on projects and gain real-world experiences. The college is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) and its BFA program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA).
