Jai and DoC always bring so much new information. They're both so intelligent; it makes me wonder more about their background and education, but I know they haven't shared a lot for privacy reasons. Have to admit I didn't follow this argument totally. I think we need it distilled down in a short video with graphics. It would be great to compare the likely spread of the canon of scripture (where the earliest fragments were found) to the various chains of readings of the Quran and when they were destroyed by Uthman up to the modern day by throwing them into a river in a video. It was new to me also that Muslims all read Hafs just because that happened to be the one printed the most [and then it was spread by the Ottoman Empire?]? Is that really what you said? Doesn't say much for Quran preservation. It's also crazy that Muslims might point out that the ending of Mark was missing from some manuscripts or that the story of the woman brought for stoning is not in all manuscripts, but they believe the Quran is exactly the word of Allah but it was different during the time of Mohammed himself. It's as if God gave Moses the 10 commandments on two tablets of stone and each tablet said something different and Moses tells the people God meant to do that. That's pretty, pretty bad.
