We can't tell what size needle (or crochet hook for that matter) you should use to wrap the yarn around by seeing the skein, your hand, or even the size of the ruler to make that decision. The needle size would make a difference! Your video is not the only one that doesn't give this important information. This whole thing is very frustrating ... the pattern I'm trying to figure out simply says "Milk cotton, size 4, 160g" ... I wish I weren't so negative or sad. Thank you.

Sorry if I'm being dim, but I'm confused: your chart gives the number of stitches/wraps per 4 inches, and in the video you're gauging per one inch. Surely your 12 wraps per inch translates to 48 wraps per 4 inches... which is (literally) off the chart. Or are you counting two wraps as one stitch? What am I missing?
