Genuinely a very helpful statement. Feeling like you've already committed the sin, so you might as well go through with it, is a major stumbling block for me.

Whenever I am about to sin, I fervently repeat the Jesus Prayer over and over. It's hard to stay aroused/enraged/what-have-you when you force your mind to focus on the Lord Christ.

Fr Josiah, I don't know if you will ever see this, but you have almost singlehandedly brought me to the truth of Holy Orthodoxy. I plan to begin attending an Orthodox church soon, and later become a member. I hope to one day meet you in person and say thank you. God bless you, a true warrior of the Orthodox Christian faith.
