As long as people fail to challenge power it will keep taking and taking.

If politicians aren't in Washington doing their jobs, they shouldn't get paid, let them file for unemployment benefits!!!

Guess Congress is "non essential" - must remember this when I vote!

How long till the pledge of allegiance becomes this:
"I pledge allegiance to the DOW and to the oligarchy for which it stands, one nation under their thumb divided by class with liberty and justice for none."

I didn't come up with that pledge, but it's awesome. I saw it on a David Doel livestream.

I would love to see populists on both sides of the aisle coming together to work on policies and bills like this.

Corporate Welfare Today.
Corporate Welfare Tomorrow.
Corporate Welfare Forever!

Our corrupt system corrupts absolutely! Greed is Good. Greed is God.

Saagar, I think you have convinced me I've been a populist all along.

Common, guys, you know the reason Sanders is staying in even though technically he dropped out about an hour ago; but he will remain on all the remaining primaries’s ballots until the end and I encourage every progressive to vote for Sanders whether there’s a path for him to victory (i.e.: win the nomination) or not.

The point being - and you guys know this - even if he doesn’t and really can’t win, if Sanders gets a certain percentage of delegates (I believe it’s 25%) going into the Convention he can force concessions from the establishment just like he did last time when he took away much of the power of super delegates - certainly not 100% of that power but believe me they were way pissed off!

So, in or out, if you’re a progressive you have every reason to vote for Sanders right up to the Convention! (You know this stuff guys, don’t play dumb.)

I have never voted for anyone from the GOP in my life but I would vote for Josh Halloway or Thomas Massie for President, Senate, House etc. These guys care more about the people than their party and that matters.

So random, but I just love how these two sometimes finish each other's sentences or say the same thing. It's so wholesome to see people on the right and left who are clearly such good friends :)

The elite may be high up on their perch but we must remind them that we are the spikes below they'll fall on.

We're fighting to protect paychecks, when - even in normal circumstances - Americans' paychecks are less than they have been in decades ... this is how desperate the American worker has become

Anyone want to be kept in a job that has high risk of exposure to Covid-19, doesn't supply PPE or take any effective measure to keep them alive?
